One-Sided Love Affair: 21-Year-Old Automobile Engineer From Odisha Murdered In Chennai

Cuttack: A pal of gloom has descended on Bada Khiri under Nischintakoili Police limits in Cuttack district after a girl from the village was found murdered in Chennai.

The deceased has been identified as Karina Priyadarshini (21). She had shifted based to Chennai about 14 months ago and was working as an automobile engineer with the Royal Enfield Company there.

She was allegedly strangulated to death by one Manas Sahu, who was smitten by her and wanted to marry her. The native of Gopapur village under Nischintakoili police limits managed to get her Chennia address a few days back and reached her place. He again proposed marriage to her. When she declined, he used her scarf to choke her to death, media reports said.

Kanchipuram Police have registered a case in this regard and further investigation is on.

The deceased’s family has demanded immediate arrest of the accused.
