Ongoing Recruitment To Continue, Clarifies Odisha Govt

Bhubaneswar: The Finance Department of the Odisha government, which had laid out a slew of austerity measures to tide over the financial crunch, came up with a clarification on Wednesday with regard to the recruitment in government departments.

The Finance Department made it clear that barring a temporary restriction on the creation of new posts, the recruitment process for the vacant government posts will continue as before.

Earlier in the day, Congress leader Niranjan Patnaik while taking a swipe at the state government for banning new recruitment for two years, had urged it to roll back its order and appoint the unemployed youths.
