Online Application For Common PG Entrance Test In Odisha From This Date

Bhubaneswar: The online application for the Common PG Entrance Test 2021 for public universities and colleges in Odisha will begin from August 2, the Higher Education Department said in a notification on Thursday.

According to the notification, the online Common Application Form (CAF) will be available on the website www.samsodisha.gov.in at 11 am on August 2. The last date of the application is August 14 (till 11.45 pm).

The entrance test will be held from August 23 to September 3 while the subject-wise and statewide merit list will be announced on October 12.

The timeline for choice filling by the eligible applicants is from October 12 to 17 while the provisional allotment of seats for the first round selection is on October 22. The online deposit of admission fees by students through SAMS (Student’s Account) portal will be done between October 22 and 25 (till 5 pm).

The eligible candidates will have to report at the allotted institutions for taking admission (for First Round Selection) between October 22 and 28.

The updation of the sIide-up option form online by the students taken admission in the first round of selection will be done between October 23 and 29 while the respective institutions will update the data of the admitted students in the e-Space (for the first-round admission) between October 22 and 29.

For the second-round selection, the provisional allotment of seats will be announced on November 4 (11 am) while the students will deposit the admission fees online through SAMS (Student’s Account) portal between November 4 and 7.

The applicants have to report at the allotted institutions for taking admission (for second-round selection) between November 4 and 9 while the respective institutions will update the data of the admitted students in the e-Space (for second round admission) between November 5 and 10.

The provisional list of the vacant seats on the SAMS website will be uploaded on November 12 (2 pm).

For filling up of the vacant seats, the Higher Education Department will issue the guidelines and notify the date.

The notification further said that the candidates, whose final UG (Under Graduate) examination results are awaited (not published), can also apply online in the CAF to appear in the Common PG Entrance Test. However, they must upload their marks prior to the preparation of subject-wise and statewide provisional rank within the dateline, failing which, their applications will not be considered.
