Mumbai: The COVID-19 pandemic notwithstanding, online auditions for the popular entertainment-packed reality show ‘Bigg Boss 14’ have started.
According to a source close to the makers of the reality show, this year the show will be based on the Jungle theme.
Thirty contestants will be shortlisted from the audition and only 16 will enter the house. Of them, 13 will be celebrities and 3 commoners.
Before the contestants are allowed into the house, they will be tested for COVID-19. The sets and all objects/furniture inside the house will be sanitized on a daily basis to ensure safety of the contestants.
Sources have revealed that the Bigg Boss 14 set will be constructed in Mumbai’s Film City.
The show, however, might be slightly delayed. Instead of the first week of October, it could be aired in the last week of October this year.
