Actor Priyanka Chopra, who is Unicef’s goodwill ambassador, has courted controversy over her tweet hailing the Indian Air Force following the Balakot airstrike in Pakistan. An online petition has been initiated to remove her as the goodwill Ambassador because she did not stay neutral.
“War between two nuclear powers can only lead to destruction & death. As goodwill ambassador of UNICEF, Priyanka Chopra was supposed to stay neutral and peaceful… She doesn’t deserve this title anymore,” the petition filed in online platform Avaaz said.
