Berhampur: The authorities of the MKCG Medical College and Hospital, here have decided to open the outdoor patient department (OPD) on August 10.
The decision was taken at a high-level meeting held in the chamber of the Dean and Principal Dr DM Tripathy. The OPD service was closed by the district administration on July 8.
The departmental OPD will be opened in the respective indoor building of MKCG like Medicine in PMR Building and rest departments like TB and CD, Skin and VD, Psychiatric in their IPD, Dr Tripathy said.
The OPD of the rest departments will function from their respective places as before. The Flu/Fever Clinic will start functioning in the old Indoor Building at the earmarked place near PP Centre.
Police have been informed for smooth management of the visitors and ensuring social distancing, the Dean said.
