Bhubaneswar: A bar at a hotel in Odisha’s capital was raided by Excise Department officials late Friday night for allegedly staying open beyond the permissible time. It has been issued a showcause notice.
The bar in question was found serving liquor at 1.10 am. There were over 50 customers at the bar during the raid.
Bars in the state are allowed to operate from 12 noon to 12 am.
