Mumbai: Oppo has launched a new AI-enabled camera phone, the A5. The phone also has a 19:9 notch display.
The Oppo A5 is priced at Rs 14,990. It has Android Oreo 8.1 based ColorsOS 5.1 in it. It has a 6.2 inch screen with HD+ resolution (1520×720 pixels) and has 2.5D curved glass on it. It has a big 4,320mAh battery and the company claims that it will last 14 hours while playing videos or 11 hours of gaming playback on a single charge.
Powering the phone is octa-core Snapdragon 450 SoC, paired to 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. There is expandable microSD storage that supports cards up to 128GB.
The dual camera has a 13-MP primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 2-MP secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front unit is an 8-MP single camera. The company claims that the front camera can recognize up to 296 facial points with its ‘AI Beauty Technology 2.0’.
The phone has a diamond gloss finish rear and is available in Blue and Rose Gold (Mirror Pink) colours.
