Bhubaneswar: Even as rain battered the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack on Wednesday, the India Meteorological Department in its mid-day bulletin forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall in several districts of Odisha from July 22.
The MeT office has issued yellow warning for heavy rainfall during the next 48 hours and orange warning for the subsequent three days.
Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places in Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Ganjam, Puri, Jagatsinghpur and Jajpur districts during the next 24 hours, it said, adding that one or two spells of rain or thundershower are also likely in Bhubaneswar.
