Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department has issued orange warning for 15 districts of Odisha till 6,30 pm on Tuesday.
Moderate thunderstorm with gusty wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph, and intense spells of rain may affect some parts of Puri, Khurda, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jagatsinghpur, Kenderapada, Sundargarh, Sonepur, Boudh, Sambalpur, Nabarangpur, Koraput and Malkangiri within 3 hours.
The weather agency has warned of waterlogging in low-lying areas. People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
