Bhubaneswar: Heavy rain coupled with lightning, thunder and strong wind is likely to lash at least 14 districts of Odisha, including Bhubaneswar and Kataka cities, on Wednesday afternoon, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in nowcast warning.
In message issued at 1.20 pm, the IMD sounded an orange warning for Khordha (including Bhubaneswar city), Nayagada, Kandhamala, Jagatsinghpur, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Debagada, Sundaragada, Balangir, Nuapada, Kataka (including Kataka city), and Kendrapada districts during next three hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and plan accordingly for their safety.
