Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday issued orange warning for two districts of Odisha till 1.30 pm.
Moderate rain/thundershower with lightning accompanied by one or two spells of intense/heavy rain may affect some parts of Nuapada and Bargarh in three hours.
The weather agency has warned of waterlogging in low-lying area, occasionally poor visibility and traffic disruption in urban area. People have also been advised to keep a watch on the weather and act accordingly.
According the national weather forecaster, very heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places over Odisha on July 24-25. The state is also likely to experience heavy rainfall from July 24-28.
