Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued orange warning for three districts of Odisha, including twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, till 8.15 pm on Saturday.
Thunderstorm/lightning accompanied with squall wind speed reaching 50-60 kmph and light to moderate rain are likely in Nayagarh, Cuttack and Khurda districts in 3 hours.
Under its impact, minor damage to loose/unsecured structures, banana trees and standing crops may occur. People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and move to safer places accordingly.
