Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning about intense rain for 14 districts of Odisha including Cuttack by 10 pm on Thursday.
The MeT Centre in Bhubaneswar issued an orange message for the next three hours. It said light to moderate rain, thundershower with one or two intense spells of rain is likely to affect some parts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Boudh, Nabarangpur, Bargarh, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Angul and Cuttack
Water logging in low lying area, occasionally poor visibility and traffic disruption are likely to be experienced in urban areas, it said, advising people to avoid movement in affected area and do arrangement for drainage of excess water.
