Bhubaneswar: With Severe Cyclonic Storm Remal nearing West Bengal coast, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued orange waring for six districts of Odisha till 6 pm on Sunday
Moderate thunderstorm accompanied by squall wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph, lightning and light to moderate rain may occur in some parts of Khurda, Nayagarh, Puri, Kandhamal, Cuttack and Dhenkanal in 3 hours.
The weather agency has warned of minor damage to loose/unsecured structures, banana trees and standing crops. People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and move to safer places accordingly.
