Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued orange warning for four districts of Odisha, including Cuttack city, till 6.50 pm on Sunday.
Moderate thunderstorm with hail, lightning and light to moderate rain is likely in some parts of Nayagarh, Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Ganjam and Rayagada in next 3 hours.
“Under its impact minor damage to loose/unsecured structures, and some damage to standing crops may occur. People are advised to keep a watch on the weather and move to safer places accordingly,” it added.
