Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued orange and yellow warnings for 14 districts of Odisha, including twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, till 9.30 pm on Saturday.
Thunderstorm/lightning with gusty surface winds with 50-60 kmph speed may occur at a few places in Balangir, Boudh, Ganjam, Kalahandi, Nayagarh. Nuapada and Sonepur districts.
Thunderstorm/lightning with gusty surface winds with 30-40 kmph speed is also likely at a few places in Bargarh, Cuttack, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Khurda, Rayagada and Sundargarh during this period.
