Cuttack: The Orissa High Court will remain closed from May 22 to June 20 due to summer vacation.
Announcing the schedule of the benches during the summer vacation, a notification issued by the high court on Friday, stated that the vacation benches will sit on May 23, 25, 30, June 1, 6, 8, 12 and 13 to hear urgent cases.
As per the notification, two-member bench of Justice KR Mohapatra and Justice MS Sahoo and single-judge benches of Justice V Narasingh and Justice Chittaranjan Dash will sit on May 23 and 25. The two-member bench of Justice KR Mohapatra and Justice MS Sahoo and single-judge benches of Justice V Narasingh and Justice Gourishankar Satapathy will hear the cases on May 30.
Similarly, the two-member bench of Justice SK Sahoo and Justice MS Raman and single-judge benches of Justice BP Routray and Justice Gourishankar Satapathy will hear the cases on June 1.
On June 6 and 8, the two-member vacation bench of Justice SK Sahoo and Justice MS Raman and single-judge benches of Justice Sashikanta Mishra and Justice BP Satapathy will hear the cases. The two-member bench of Justice Sashikanta Mishra and Justice SK Mishra and single-judge benches of Justice Aditya Kumar Mohapatra and Justice BP Satapathy will sit on June 12 and 13, stated the notification.
