Cuttack: The Orissa High Court on Friday ordered filing of FIRs against three police officials for turning down the complaint of a woman in a dowry harassment case.
According to sources, the woman had approached the Mahila police station for filing a dowry harassment complaint. But, the police officials allegedly did not file the complaint and instead intimidated her.
Later, she approached the Lalbagh police station and moved the Orissa High Court. The court ordered the FIR to be filed against inspector-in-charge, sub-inspector and an assistant sub-inspector of the Mahila police station.
