Cuttack: The Orissa High Court was closed for the puja vacation that began on Friday. The court will remain closed till November 2.
According to a notification released by the High Court Registrar, the vacation bench will be held for a day on October 28 when a two-member bench comprising Justice SK Mishra and Justice BP Routray will hear the urgent matters. Justice Sangam Kumar Sahu and Justice KR Mohapatra will hear the cases individually.
The office of the High Court will remain open from 11 am to 3 pm on October 27, 28 and 29, while the new matters can be registered between 11 am and 12 noon during the vacation, the notification stated.
