Kendrapada: Unidentified miscreants looted gold and silver ornaments from Maa Daria Ramachandi Pitha near Mahakalapada in Kendrapada district late on Friday.
According to sources, two gold mangalasutras (necklaces), three gold pendants, three silver necklaces, one silver crown and one silver sword were looted from the temple.
Following discovery of the loot, BJP blocked the road near the shrine and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits.
