Mumbai: Amid the buzz surrounding ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 15’, social media influencer Orry has taken a fresh dig at actress Sara Ali Khan with a sarcastic remark involving filmmaker Rohit Shetty, sparking an online debate among fans.
During a recent interaction with India Forums, Orry opened up about the show, praising its host Rohit and expressing excitement about being a part of it.
However, what caught everyone’s attention was his cheeky remark about Rohit’s ability to deliver a “big hit” for Sara with ‘Simmba’.
He further joked that if Rohit could make that happen for Sara, he would surely be able to do something for him too.
“Well, I have not seen the show, but
of course I know Rohit Shetty. And the fact that he has managed to give such a big hit to Sara Ali Khan means I am very excited to be directed by him. If you could have done that for her, you could definitely do it for me,” Orry was quoted as saying by the portal.
Many social media users viewed the remark as a subtle dig at Sara, because of their strained relationship which made headlines some time back.
In a chat with Hindustan Times earlier, Orry had said, “I unfollowed Sara a while ago, and I haven’t followed Ibrahim in years.”
He added, “Pretending to be friends with Sara means pretending to be ok with the trauma her mother put me through, and I just don’t think I can do that anymore.”
While Orry refrained from revealing details about the “trauma” he mentioned, he hinted that the matter goes far beyond social media disagreements or Instagram unfollows.
Orry further suggested that in his view, there is only one possible way the situation could eventually be resolved.
“If Amrita Singh were to apologise, I could maybe see myself letting it go in the future,” he said.
