Bhubaneswar: Health experts explained the importance of Oral Rehydration Therapy at a programme organised in the Department of Pediatrics of the Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital in Bhubaneswar on the occasion of World ORS Day on Friday.
The theme of this year’s World ORS Day is “Jodi No 1: ORS and Zink”. Administration of Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS) to children suffering from diarrhoea was explained by the experts in the programme.
Additional Dean of IMS and SUM Hospital Dr Ajay Kumar Jena, faculty of the department including Dr Swarup Bisoi, Dr Saroj Satpathy, Dr Arakhita Swain, Dr Mrutyunjay Dash, Dr DK Dash, Dr BK Behera, Dr J Bikrant Prusty, Dr D Rath and Dr J Choudhury were present. Dr BD Dash coordinated the programme.
