Bhubaneswar: Police detained two jawans of Odisha State Armed Police (OSAP) following a clash in the city on Sunday morning.
Sources said an OSAP jawan, Parama Nayak, had an altercation with his colleague, Basir Khan, on the premises of the 7th Battalion. Following this, an enraged Nayak attacked Khan with a knife. However, some other jawans present on the spot overpowered Nayak and saved Khan. The latter sustained minor injuries in the attack.
Following information, police rushed to the spot and took the two jawans to Chandrasekharpur police station for interrogation.
