Oscar Sporting Storms Into Quarters In Rameswar Cup

Bhubaneswar: Oscar Sporting defeated Kishore Club by 20 runs to storm into quarter finals in the second edition of the Rameswar Cup on Monday.
After winning the toss, Oscar Sporting elected to bat first. The team posted 215 run at the loss of eight wickets in 30 overs. Bikram Jagdev Ray scored 59 runs off 41 balls, and was assisted by Rahul Nayak, who scored 66 from 45 balls and Pamir Bharimal (51).
For Kishore Club, Jagyasen Pattanaik clinched three wickets and converted 31 runs, while Dina Das took two wickets and gave away 51 runs.
Rahul Nayak of Oscar Sporting spoiled Kishore Club’s chances of win after taking four wickets. Pamir Bharimal took two wickets. Batsman Satyaban Sasmal, who scored 85 off 69 balls and Priyabrat Nayak (38 off 32 balls) did manage to close in the gap but couldn’t lead the team to victory.
The team were bundled out for 195 in 29.5 overs.
