Bhubaneswar: Odisha State Housing Board (OSHB) has approved extension of gratuity benefits to all its eligible non-regular employees, who come under the purview of Payment of Gratuity Act,1972.
According to a notification released by the board, the gratuity benefits of each non-regular employee may be considered separately for each period in different establishments, basing on the tenure and last pay drawn.
The benefit of one establishment for gratuity cannot be given at the rate of the salary drawn in another establishment. Old cases such as superannuation/ resignation/ death/ disability may not be re-opened for payment of gratuity benefits.
