OSSSC Issues Fresh Exam Dates For RI, ARI, ICDS, Amin & SFS Posts After Orissa HC Directive

OSSSC Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) on Monday issued a notification for the preliminary exam of various posts such as Revenue Inspector (RI), ICDS Supervisor, ARI, Amin and Statistical Field Surveyor (SFS).

The fresh notification comes after a directive of the Orissa High Court, which had asked the state government to cancel the existing recruitment process and issue a fresh advertisement.

As per Monday’s notification, the exam will be conducted under the Combined Recruitment Examination-2023 (IV) in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode in all districts of the state.

The exam will begin on October 8, and is likely to continue until the third week of November.

Candidates can download their admission letters from the OSSSC website — www.osssc.gov.in — using their user ID and password. No hard copies of admission letters will be sent by post.

Candidates have been advised to attempt the mock test available on the portal, while downloading admission letters.

The examinations were cancelled on July 30 due to irregularities and violations of recruitment rules. The cancellation annulled the entire 2023 recruitment cycle, including preliminary and main exams. The main exam was originally scheduled from August 1 to September 4.

OSSSC clarified in its fresh notification that it reserves the right to alter exam dates, if required, due to any exigency.

Candidates have been advised to regularly check the commission’s website for further updates.
