Bhubaneswar: The Utkal University on Saturday cancelled fifth semester examination of Plus III, due to the mismatch of questions with the existing syllabus.
The announcement came 20 minutes into the examination for Honours subjects of Mathematics and Chemistry.
According to sources, the questions in these two papers were out of syllabus. Based on the complaint of the students, the university authorities decided to cancel today’s examination of these two subjects.
The examination for these two papers will be held within seven days, informed the Examination Comptroller of the varsity.
