New Delhi: The National Apprentice Mela is being held at 700 locations across the country on Thursday.
Being organised by the Education Ministry, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Union Minister for Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Rajeev Chandrasekhar chaired the event at national capital.
As many as 1.2 lakh students are participating in the mela looking for an opportunity to get employment from the 4,000 registered companies across sectors like power, retail, electronics, technology etc.
Through the event, Education Ministry aims to bridge the gap between skill delivery system and employment-friendly environment.
The selected students will be given a chance for internships following which they will be awarded certificates or job contracts depending on their performance.
In the event, Dharmendra Pradhan interacted with students and employers to discuss about their future prospects.
How to register?
1. Go to the official website of Directorate of general of training on dgt.gov.in
2. Click on the National Apprenticeship Mela 2022 option on the home page
3. Fill in the essential details such as age, qualification, gender and submit the form.
4. Download and print the form for future usage
After printout the candidates need to locate the nearest centre for Apprentice Mela 2022 which could be found by selecting the state and region in the website.
Documents Required To Enrol
The candidates need to carry the registration form along with three printouts of their resume (CV), three printouts of academic record and mark sheets, three printouts of passport and any identity form such as (Aadahar, passport or driving license).
