Over 100 School Children From Bhubaneswar Enrol For SOA’s 10-Day Summer Camp

Bhubaneswar: More than 100 school children are participating in a summer camp being organised by Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) at its university campus here.

Boys and girls from different schools of Bhubaneswar have enrolled for the 10-day camp which was inaugurated here on Monday.

Participants include children from class V to class X. They will be imparted training in games like volleyball, basketball, table tennis, tennis, cricket, kho kho, kabaddi and chess.

The camp, being held for the fourth consecutive year, will run from 4 pm to 6 pm on all 10 days.

“We will hold programmes for their mental development as well,” said Dean (Students’ Welfare) of SOA Prof. Jyoti Ranjan Das, who inaugurated the camp.

SOA’s Sports Officer Sunita Barma was also present at the inauguration.
