Bhubaneswar: The SAI Model United Nations (SAIMUN) e-Conference hosted by SAI International educational group concluded on Saturday. Over 1000 global delegates from 20 countries participated in the conference.
Speaking at the valedictory session of the mega eSAIMUN, Satyabrata Sahu, principal secretary, School and Mass Education, Odisha, said, “SAIMUN is playing an active role in preparing students to become world citizens. What you can do for people across all countries connecting the world in a remarkable manner is an achievement in itself.”
In his speech, Kyewalabye Male David, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Palaces, Buganda Kingdom, Uganda, said it was noteworthy to hear the students put forth their resolutions. “It was a very knowledgeable and interactive confluence. Our students have been active participants since the last seven years and we look forward to maintaining strong associations to bring change in our world,” he added.
David Moyer, Public Affairs Officer, US Consulate in Hyderabad expressed his happiness over participation of increasing number of foreign dignitaries in SAIMUN.
