Cuttack: Over 15 passengers were injured after a private bus rammed into a truck parked on the roadside near Jagatpur in Cuttack on Tuesday. According to sources, the accident took place when the passenger bus, Ganesh, was coming from Balasore to Bhubaneswar. Due to the high speed, the driver lost control and rammed into the truck.
The injured persons were rescued and admitted to a nearby hospital. Five of the injured persons were shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in a deteriorated condition.
On being informed, police reached the spot and seized the vehicle.
