Over 15K Students Apply For Matric Offline Exam In Odisha

Cuttack: The form fill-up for Matric offline examination ended on Thursday. A total of 15,155 students have applied for the examination, said the Board of Secondary Education (BSE).

According to the BSE, out of 15,155 students, 6596 students will appear in the High School Certificate (HSC) examination, 8493 will appear in Odisha State Open School (OSOS) examination and 66 will appear in Madhya examination.

According to the schedule, the offline examination will be held from July 30 to August 5.

It may be mentioned that the BSE had decided to conduct the offline examination for the Class X students after several students alleged irregularities in marks awarded to them under the alternative assessment method.
