Berhampur: Ganjam district reported a 188 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the affected tally to 4335 on Tuesday.
Among the new cases, 171 are active contact cases, 12 corona warriors, and five with travel history.

The district administration in a tweet urged people to follow social distancing norms and use a mask. “Don’t hide corona symptoms. Take care of yourself and senior citizens also of comorbid peoples. District helpline no 8118066370,” the post added.
The district had reported 230 fresh cases on Sunday and 283 on Monday.
With 2,433 patients having recovered from the infection so far, the district now has 1,859 active cases.
