Cuttack: Cuttack city reported over 200 cases overnight which took the tally to 6,658 on Tuesday.
Of the 236 new cases, 67 are from institutional quarantine and 78 are from home quarantine. The remaining 91 are local contact cases.
According to Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), five among them are COVID warriors.
Six cases each have been reported from Chauliaganj and Sector-6 CDA.
On the other hand, Cuttack City reported one death. The deceased is a 65-year-old man who was also suffering from diabetes, hypertension, bronchial asthma & hypothyroidism
The CMC further informed that 71 more patients got cured of the infection and discharged from hospital.
With 31 deaths and 4,720 recoveries, Cuttack city now has 1,907 active cases.
