Bhubaneswar: Odisha witnessed more than 33% increase in recoveries from COVID-19 on Wednesday over the figure of Tuesday.
As many as 88 patients recovered from the disease against 63 on February 16, according to Health and Family Welfare department. However, only one district reported recoveries in double-digit.
If the day’s recovered patients, 21 were from Sundargarh district, 7 from Jajpur, 6 each from Balasore, Bargarh, Keonjhar and Puri and 5 each from Khurda and Mayurbhanj.
Recovery figures from other districts are as follow:
4 from Cuttack
3 from Boudh
2 each from Balangir, Jagatsinghpur, Nuapada, Rayagada and Sambalpur
1 each from Angul, Bhadrak, Deogarh, Dhenkanal, Ganjam, Jharsuguda, Koraput and Sonepur
1 from State Pool
The total recovered cases in Odisha now stand at 3,33,788 against positive tally of at 3,36,397 with 75 new cases reported overnight.
