Bhubaneswar: At least 53,478 COVID-19 tests were conducted in Odisha in the last 24 hours, the State Health & Family Welfare Department informed.
According to sources, 5849 tests were conducted under RTPCR, 47,512 under Antigen, and 117 under TruNat.
In order to increase the number of COVID-19 testing in Odisha, the state government on August 2 issued guidelines for all private hospitals, nursing homes and laboratories to conduct tests via three methods — RTPCR, Antigen and TruNat.
