Cuttack: Notwithstanding repeated appeals of the Central and state governments and strict vigilance by police, as many as 717 people were slapped fine for violating COVID-19 guidelines in the city in the last 3 days.
In a tweet on Thursday, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Cuttack, Prateek Singh said penalty was imposed on 73 persons for not wearing masks and 144 for not maintaining social distancing in the last 24 hours.
