Mumbai: The owner of the explosive-laden vehicle, found parked outside billionaire industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s house last week, has been found dead.
Police informed that the body of Mansukh Hiren was recovered from Kalwa creek in Mumbra at around 10.25 am.
His family members had lodged a report at a Thane police station after he went missing since Thursday evening.
About 20 gelatin sticks were found in an SUV outside Antilla, following which Mumbai Police launched a massive drive to trace the culprits. They found out that the Scorpio had been stolen from Vikhroli 10 days before the incident. It had a fake registration number, same as that of the lead vehicle in the security convoy of Nita Ambani.
