New Delhi: The government may place an order today for the Oxford vaccine that is likely to be priced at Rs 200 a vial in India, NDTV quoted sources from Adar Poonawalla’s Serum Institute of India (SII) as saying.
“The purchase order for Covishield vaccines is expected today with rollout either today or tomorrow,” the sources told NDTV, adding that, “a few million doses of Covishield will be supplied every week. 11 million doses may be supplied in the initial lot,” they added.
The first 100 million doses are likely to cost Rs 200 apiece, the report added.
