Cuttack: Panic gripped the SCB Medical College and Hospital late on Monday night after a portion of the oxygen pipe at the Cardiothoracic ward went off.
Following the incident, ICU has been closed and the open heart surgery at the Operation Theatre (OT) has been stopped.
The hospital authorities said that the Oxygen plant has been temporarily closed and the surgery will resume after the repair of the plant.
