Malkangiri: Normal life was hit in Malkangiri district on Friday following a 12-hour bandh call given by the Congress, demanding immediate transfer of the collector Manish Agarwal.
Talking to the media here, former Congress MP Pradeep Majhi said his party will continue its agitation till the transfer of the collector.
Holding the collector responsible for the death of his personal assistance Deba Narayan Panda, Majhi said his party has lodged a complaint against him with the police.
The body of Panda was recovered from the Satiguda dam on December 28. Panda’s wife had informed the media that her husband was in severe mental stress due to excess work pressure in his office.
