‘Paatal Lok’ Actor Asif Basra Found Dead In Private Complex In Dharamsala

Dharamsala: ‘Paatal Lok’ actor Asif Basra was found dead at McLodganj in Dharamshala on Thursday. He reportedly died by suicide, however, the reason remains unknown.

The 53-year-old actor was found hanging at a private complex. A team of forensics experts have reached the scene and investigations are ongoing.

Quoting SSP Kangra Vimukt Ranjan, ANI tweeted, “Film actor Asif Basra was found hanging in a private complex in Dharamshala. Forensic team is at the spot and police is investigating the matter: SSP Kangra Vimukt Ranjan.”

The actor was last seen in Anuskha Sharma’s ‘Paatal Lok’ and had done a number of projects including ‘Black Friday’ and ‘Parzania’.

The late actor was born at Amravati, Maharashtra, in 1967.
