Bhubaneswar: Actor Neeraj Kabi impressed audiences as primetime journalist Sanjeev Mehra who escapes assassination in recently-released Amazon Prime Video’s crime-thriller Paatal Lok, which unraveled his acting prowess.
Did you know the actor made his debut with an Odia film? It was 1997-film Shesha Drusti, where he played the lead role Sangram. The film was directed by Apurba Kishore Bir, and went on to bag the National Award for best film. It was produced by the National Film Development Corporation.
However, it took him 12 years to land his next project – Ship of Theseus, another classic. Thereafter, he has been consistent with his performance and appearance on the big screen, which includes Talvar and Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!. He was also seen in the web series Sacred Games and The Final Call.
