Bargarh: The Bargarh district administration on Sunday announced a 65-hour shutdown in Padampur town after two persons tested positive for COVID-19.
As informed by Collector Jyoti Ranjan Pradhan, the shutdown in the town will remain in force from 1 pm on Sunday till 6 pm on Wednesday.
Of the two positive cases, one is from the quarantine centre while the other a local contact case, he added.
The first positive case in Padampur town in this western Odisha district was detected on June 14.
