Bhubaneswar: Janaki Ballava Padhee, the owner of leading educational coaching chain Padhee’s Tutorial, was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his residence at Bramheswarpatna here on Thursday morning.
Locals said when Janaki’s brother-in-law went to the bedroom, he found the body hanging by a piece of cloth from a ceiling fan.
Badagada police rushed to the spot and started investigation. Though police found a 10-page suicide note near the body, the exact reason behind Janaki’s death is yet to be ascertained as the body was found hanging with the knees touching the floor.
Family sources suspect Janaki might have committed suicide over issues pertaining to payment of bank loans.
