Balangir: Vigilance sleuths on Thursday raided Padiabahal Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO) Tapan Mehera’s houses on charges of accumulating properties disproportionate to his known sources of income.
Four teams of the anti-corruption wing carried out simultaneous raids at Mehera’s two residences located at Patnagarh, his parental house at Kutumunda and in-law’s place at Samalasar in Balangir district.
Several important documents were verified and seized during the raids, an official said.
