Bhubaneswar: Social activist and Padma awardee Kamala Pujari has been admitted for second time to Jeypore district headquarters hospital (DHH) in Odisha’s Koraput.
According to sources, Pujari complained of diarrhoea and vomiting on Friday night and was rushed to the hospital on Sarurdy morning.
The doctors in the hospital said she was out of danger and her condition was stable. Of her condition deteriorates, arrangements have been made to shift Pujari to the medical college at Koraput or SCB Medical College and Hospital at Cuttack, they added.
On August 20, the Padma Shri awardee was admitted to Jeypore DHH after suffering from fever and loose motion for two to three days. She was shifted to SCB Hospital in a critical health condition on August 24.
However, Pujari was discharged from the hospital after she fully recovered from illness and her condition improved for doing normal activities.
