New Delhi: Pakistan has blocked social media app TikTok for failing to filter out “immoral” content.
In a press statement on Friday, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority said the decision to ban the Chinese short-video making platform after “receiving a number of complaints against immoral/indecent content from different segments of the society”.
The ban immediately took over Twitter with netizens in India exhibiting various hilarious concerns through memes making #TikTok one of the top trends for the day, News 18 reported.
