Jamnagar (Gujarat): The Pakistani Marine Agency intercepted an Indian boat with eight fishermen near the International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL).
All eight fishermen have been taken into custody by the Pakistani sea authority.
The boat, named Nar Narayan, had set out for fishing from Junagadh’s Veraval, India Today reported citing sources. However, it was seized by the Pakistani marine agency on Thursday night as it entered the no-fishing zone.
Of the eight fishermen, seven are from Junagadh, and one from Maharashtra.
Around 125 Indian fishermen have been arrested off Gujarat coast by Pakistan’s sea authority so far this year, accusing them of entering Pakistani waters.
